Kolob Canyon Review is a student-run literary journal. It contains written pieces of fiction and non-fiction submitted by students and alumni of SUU, as well as visual art pieces to make a two-part edition each year. Along with a team of 20 other designers, we created the entire visual language to present these pieces in an engaging way. I set and designed 2 story layouts myself, as well as creating the title images for them. I also helped contribute to creating tons of other imagery used in the book, as well as posters, pins, t-shirts, and tote bag designs for the merchandise. We used a variety of physical media scanned in photographically to create abstract images, as well as a consistent type treatment that matched these images.
